Chamomile

Anthemis nobilis

Chamomile Oil is taken from the Chamomile plant flowers. There are two types of Chamomile, Roman Chamomile (Anthemis Nobilis) and German Chamomile (Matricaria Chamomilla). We use Roman Chamomile as it is more powerful and more calming. It is especially useful for those going through a period of depression, under stress, or dealing with intense anxiety. Chamomile tea is the most popular use of this oil. It is soothing and relaxing, however aromatherapy uses have a stronger affect on these conditions. We use it in a room spray to help bring a sense of calm to the bedrooms.
